1st Of ALL we have to download these two Software's.. If Already downloaded.. Than just Skip this step...
1: VMware Workstation... Click to Download
2: Windows XP... Click to Download
Step 1: Once when you have successfully installed Vmware as i told you before the next step to configure the Vmware
Step 2: Double click the Vmware workstation icon from the desktop,then you will see the windows interface like given below........
Step 3: Then click on create a New virtual machine from it,Click Next to continued
Step 4: Then choose the configuration type as "Typical " and click next to continued
Step 5: Choose the location from where you want to install the operating system (CD-ROM.Install from disk image (ISO),or i will install operating system later, in my case i choose i will install operating system later),Click Next to continued..
Step 6: Choose the type of operating system you want to install in Vmware (in my case i will choose windows Xp) Click Next to continued
Step 7: Give the Name of virtual machine and choose the location where you want to to save all its file, or you can leave as it default,Click Next to continued
Step 8: Allocate the size of hard disk required for it (in my case i will choose 40 GB space from HDD)Click Next to continued
Step 9: Then Click Next to finish
Step 10:Once you have finish configure the virtual machine then power on it
step 11: When you power on Vmware then go VM menu then choose removable device and CD/DVD drive then click on setting
step 12: From the connection "choose ISO image file " then browse the ISO file from the drive ,then click open it..
Step 13:once you have add the ISO in Vmware file reboot the Vmware then windows Xp installation process will be begin
Step 14: press Enter to continue.
Step 15:Hit Enter at the next screen to continue installation
Step 16:The Microsoft Windows XP Licensing Agreement appears next, as shown in the following screen. It is important that you read and understand this agreement before continuing with the installation. After you have read and agreed to the contents of the license, press F8 to continue.
Step 17:You should now see one single Raw partitions highlight the partitions and press C to create new partation . allocated the 2047 Mb for the new partitions Hightlight the new 2047 partition is highlighted and press Enter.
Step 18:Highlight the NTFS partition <Quick> option as shown in the following screen, and press Enter
Step 19:After you press Enter, the system formats the partition, as shown in the following screens.
Step 21:once when finish the formatting the drive partition and copying the file to the c: drive , system reboot itself , and Windows installation begin ..........
Step 22:After 5 min regional and language option will be display , leave it as default , then click next to continued.
Step 23: Enter your name and the organization in the Name and Organization fields. Click the Next button when you are done.
Step 24: In the Next screen, Enter the Product Key number that came with your software. press Next to continued.
Step 25:Now enter a name in the Computer name field to name your computer.Then, type in a password in the Administrator password field. You also need to confirm the password, as shown in the following screen. Then, click the Next button to continued.
Step 26:In the screen that appears, enter the current time, and then fill in the Date field and Time Zone field. Click Next to continued.
Step 27: In the Networking settings windows leave it as default then Click Next to continued
Step 28:After certain time of installation of windows Xp will be successfully completed, then you are ready Go.............. :)
